Impressive baobab from the bombacaceae family origin from west and southern coast of Madagascar.

ALBIZIA CHINENSIS
ALBIZIA GUMMIFERA

A large spreading flat decideous tree from the coastal of the Kilimanjaro. - topped tree mostly seen in high altitude forests without spines with lateral branches with falttened pod with brown to roughish flaking on the bark and the bark is used as a remedy for bronchitis. Since this species are very large, they are often planted to provide shape in tea plantations. Trees are fire resistant, but sensitive to frost. Pods, roots and bark have medicinals properties. Wood is used to make beehives, water troughts and boats. It is also a nitrogen fixing and used to stabilize the soil.

ALBIZIA LEBBECK

A graceful and attractive tree widely cultivated as it has a beautiful grey papery peeling bark. Good for timber.
