Indigenous to Mauritius. Known as Princess Palm and edible palm for its cabage as delicacy. Silver blue color with large pinnate fan shaped and gorgeous palm. Need full sun and can sustain dryness and drought tolerant.

Single trunk found in Mauritius with silver grey colour of the petioles and more prominent silver of the crownshaft and there are falling thread arrangement on both sides of the leaves tips.
